Homemade Chicken Soup and noodles This photo is for the current (?? I may be a bit late) challenge on the 'Flickr in the Real World / Instant Faves' group. I haven't made chicken soup in ages, but I made it this past week and it was excellent. The noodles aren't homemade but are from a local family that makes excellent pasta that comes very close to the homemade egg noodles my mother use to make. The bread roll is just there for show. It's actually for my husband. He doesn't like noodles as much as I do, so he gets a bread roll with his soup, and I get noodle soup. He also doesn't like carrots so this time around I just cut up one carrot into large chunks. That way I get the carrots and he doesn't have to have them. The bowl the soup is in is a favourite as well. Eventually I hope to have the entire set in that range. I buy just one or two pieces every time I go to Adelaide's Central Market. I get these in one of the Asian stores and often spend hours shopping there as it's just so amazing - like being in a whole different country. Anyway, I ramble. Cheers!
